Its been a long time

Its been a long time since I last penned my thoughts, almost like two mnths. Life seems changed in this time. Seems like a century... Life as I knew it changed... Things that were meant to last forever... gone in a flash... Makes me think that all this stuff about love and ...They lived happily ever after is just a load of crap.

It does however, have its brighter sides... I don need to try to check myself, I don need to stay in control, I can be what I am and be proud of the fact. Love was beautiful but life seems better. Heart breaks and heart aches but one thing that remains is ME. And that is one thing that no one can take away from me. The more you run after, pine for a thing the farther it goes away.

I am sorry, these are brave words in which I myself don believe fully as yet (although I'm trying my level best to).

Tried my hand at some poetry (Hindi) after a long time... excuse the Hinglish...

KABHI KABHI KUCH AISA LAGTA HAI

KI JEEVAN MEIN KUCH SHESH NAHI;

UMEED NAHI KOI TEJ NAHI.

YEH HAAD MAAS KA PUTLA

BEKAAR HI GHASEETE JATA HOON.

KOI CHAAH NAHI JO POORI HO,

KOI CHEEZ NAHI JO APNI HO.

HOTHON PE HASI DIL MEIN KARAHTA HOON,

YEH HAAD MAAS KA PUTLA GHASEETE JATA HOON.

KYA NA PAANE KA RANJ KAROON,

WOH CHEEZ JO APNI THI HI NAHI.

KYA KHO JAANE KA GUM KAROON,

WOH KHUSHI JO SACCHI THI HI NAHI.

ASHKON KE BHAWARON MEIN

KHUD KO KHOYE JATA HOON MAIN;

YEH HAAD MAAS KA PUTLA AISE HI KHEECHE JATA HOON MAIN.
